How to view the broadcasts with the Havonos foundation (again)?
In our previous news item we wrote about the upcoming broadcasts of ‘Koffietijd’ and ‘De Bestemming’, in which Havonos got a leading role. Meanwhile the broadcasts have been shown, and we enjoyed looking at. Did you miss the broadcasts, or would you like to watch them again? RTL4 has made both broadcasts available. The holiday trip from board members Sieni and Mirjam to Sri Lanka
Board members Sieni Schouten and Mirjam van den Berg spent the May holiday in Sri Lanka, where they were received very hospitably during their visit to the projects. And they saw many beautiful things and developments! Totally impressed and full of stories, they came back to the Netherlands. Soon their travel report will be published! How do we make all this possible? Havonos cannot realize these projects without YOUR help! We thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your support and help. This time, we want to put extra emphasis on a special and loyal group of donors: the supermarkets, spread across the whole country, where - sometimes against the national policy of the organization - we are allowed to stand on a regular basis under the charity button. We appreciate the cooperation of the supermarket owners and managers, and of course also, and especially, the support of their customers, who choose to donate their deposit money to Havonos. Fantastic! |

The cooperation with Foundation A Helping Hand (SEHH)
On May 19th, the entire board of the ‘Helping Hand Foundation’ (SEHH) came to Raalte. In the week before the meeting Sieni and Mirjam returned from their holiday in Sri Lanka and the visit to the projects. Apart from listening to their enthusiastic stories, the list of wishes, which Sieni and Mirjam brought from Sri Lanka, came to the table. Plans were been made for joint projects (SEHH and Havonos) to tackle projects and submit applications to the Wilde Ganzen. You will undoubtedly read more about this cooperation in a subsequent news item. In any case, we look back on a very pleasant and inspiring meeting and forward, to a fruitful cooperation!

Children, doing their first communion, from elementary school De Linderte in action for Anna's Home for Children We finish our news message with a very nice message! The children of primary school De Linderte have collected the nice amount of € 309.58 on the occasion of their Holy Communion with all kinds of chores. On Monday 4 June board members Sieni and Mirjam visited them, to show them a film and photos of their visit to Sri Lanka and to receive the money. The proceeds go entirely to Anna's Home for Children, where it will get a very good destination. |
