This wonderful community center in Mullikulam is named after Sieni and Cor Schouten (Sieni-Cor) and opened festively by both of them. Havonos realized it in collaboration with Wild Geese. The Sieco Center is a new place for encounters between men, women and children, cultures and beliefs. In the community, everyone is welcome and equal. It is a place to celebrate, but also to grieve and mourn. Overall, it's a place of connection and also of hope and where the population together makes plans to put shoulders under the work, because it is necessary to rebuild the community and the village. There is much enthusiasm for the courses taught at the center, including seminars in the areas of agriculture and health. Women for example come together to make bags and baskets of dried palm leaves. They organize exhibitions where all their products are sold.
